Best 45 minutes i´ve seen Brann play since I follow them (2010). Unbelievably good. Everyone knows exactly what their teammates are doing at any time. Rasmussen absolute class so far. Also, I fucking love Dyngeland. He´s almost a deep lying playmaker

Crones crosses are fucking fantastic!!! If this team stays together they can achieve big things in Eliteserien next season...

Sogndal were very good the first 15, glad we fought ourselves in. The goal was some beautiful football. Rasmussen with one of his worst games since he´s here. Crone is showing some good stuff when we´re attacking, but defensively I´m not convinced at all. I´d be very happy with a win against what surely is one of the better OBOS sides. Btw, I´m kind of impressed with Dyngeland so far.

Some thoughts:

Holmen is a good keeper.

When Brann is laying deep, Barmen & Forren work great as center backs.

Kristiansen and Kolskogen as wing backs = zero attacking football on the wings

Heggebø is great, but he needs someone to create space for him, like Bamba did against Strømsgodset. Him as the lone striker is not working.

Good first half. Now let´s hope they can stay calm, we´re the better team for sure. Blomberg much too often in panic mode when he has the ball. Bamba actually good as a winger. Skaanes & Taylor very good.

Wow it´s almost absurd how they´re playing decent football all of a sudden. I´m truly impressed with this 1st half, minus the first 10. The first time in a long time that you can see that this team has a plan that is actually working.

Why bench Opdal? He was absolutely solid. And didn´t throw any balls in his own net.

Good start, nothing much after that. Forren really shaky with the ball, not at all impressed by him. This team desperately needs a plan, when we attack it´s mostly chaos and hoping for gilbert to come up with something

If only Brann would have shown the same attitude in Dublin...

i totally get your point, it´s just I don´t see LAN getting sacked no matter how bad Brann performs, so I think we probably have to deal with him as head coach whether we like it or not.
I just hope he will respond to the rightful recent criticism by accepting that he and Soltvedt made serious mistakes in putting the squad together. This season, with all due respect for everything LAN has achieved over the past years, 90 percent of the games have been just awful, AWFUL to look at.

To me, it seems like the only way out of this misery was if LAN would accept that he made some serious mistakes in compiling the current squad and adressed this issues in the winter.

Brann needs a good, clean cut.
I think the following players should go:

Holmen Johansen, Acosta, Karadas, Teniste, RYJ, Lokberg, Komsoon, Bamba, HKJ

In: Talented goalkeeper, talented centre back, two pacey wingers with technique and dribbling abilities and a right back with decent crossing abilities.

Brann desperately needs a plan how to play proper football.
Komsoon is just tragic.

I am a Gladbach supporter and I follow the club very closely (almost as closely as Brann )

All I can say is that Gladbach is an amazing choice for any young player, just because if they decide to sign a foreign player at that age it means that they are 100% confident that he has the potential to become a valuable first team player soon.

They are also known for throwing those young players in into the first team squad regularly and early.



Just some examples from the last years:

Marco Reus and Mo Dahoud, who are both playing for Dortmund now, started their careers in Gladbach.

At the beginning of this season, they signed a 17 year old French player (Mickael Cuisance) for almost no money who made 22 Bundesliga appearances this season. Same with 18 year old Reece Oxford from England.

I´m sure Christiansen and his agent know all that, that´s why I think that this time there was nothing much Brann could have done to make Christiansen stay.

My club in Germany is Borussia Mönchengladbach, been a fanatic supporter since i was a kid, season starts today and i am off to the stadium soon, very excited
But i can´t really explain why, but i love Brann just as much
As for the forthcoming games, i think if we manage not to lose against Molde and Godset we have a huge chance to stay in the league. Then again, it´s Brann and i can easily imagine that beat both Molde and Godset and then lose at home against Sandnes and Start...but the last three games (besides the Odd match) left me really positiv. I think if we stay in the league, next season is going to be a top 3 one...
